
When the Currys’ project manager was looking for an online recruitment provider to partner with to develop an online process for store colleagues, her needs were clear:

It was the consistently ‘candidate friendly’ and ‘easy to use’ examples that Curry’s project manager encountered when carrying out a benchmark study that led her to Changeworknow.
With Changeworknow’s support, Currys launched a highly innovative online recruitment system for its 550 strong branch network that enables managers to post their vacancies using a simple template, set quotas on the numbers of qualified candidates they want to see and manage the applicant tracking system via the use of emails.
Speed to hire has improved dramatically and, on occasions been as short as 3 days improving the availability of staff in the store network. Branch managers have been overwhelmingly positive ‘the quality of candidate is far stronger and the process is much faster and methodical’ – branch manager.
The results have been impressive. Store management roles are now being incorporated along with all commercial store support roles as the methodology is embraced throughout the organisation.
